In light of the precarious political situation concerning the office of Mayor in the city of Atlantic City, Joseph Polillo has filed with the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Comission, a single Candidate Committee Certificate of Organization, an Exploratory Committee for the Office of Mayor of Atlantic City.

Polillo looks forward to the November 2008 General Election to be elected Mayor of Atlantic City

Basic platform position is the protection of Atlantic City residents from the politician's and the present office holders.

Genuine property tax relief on a perpetual basis. Tax abatement across the board to realize the promise of Casino Gambling made 30 years ago

With a strong hand will I lead as your Mayor: My covenant with the people of Atlantic City is to be a Mayor of ALL the people. I heard and I do hear the groans and the complaints of the people how government does not work, takes too long, does not do the job, and is arrogant, ignorant and disrespectful to the public.
